As the dawn of the league draws closer, Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has called upon his team-mates to treat each round in the league as they would treat a Cup final.
“We have to take the field in every match with the desire to not allow points for our opponents, because every point could weigh on the final standings,” the shot-stopper explained on his official website.
“We expect 38 finals and the one with Chievo will be the first. They arrive in Turin on the wings of enthusiasms they achieved salvation last year. We should beware of their pace and [striker Sergio] Pellissier.”
The Old Lady is preparing for a campaign to break the dominance of Inter, who have won four consecutive Scudetti.
